Account Coordinator - Affiliate & Paid Media

As the Account Coordinator, you will work closely with your colleagues to learn the fundamentals of our marketing channels and begin applying our unique approach to paid media and affiliate with rygr clients. This position is responsible for supporting our Media Strategists and Affiliate Managers in their day-to-day tasks, providing support through all stages of our campaign, from strategy to execution and reporting.
The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who is proactive and decisive with an analytical mindset.
Responsibilities
- Support affiliate and paid account managers during campaign strategy and execution and reporting
- Support market and target audience research to assist in building recruitment, optimization and campaign strategy
- Coordinate with internal teams to identify other potential brand opportunities
- Work closely with analytics, trafficking and ad-serving tools to manage and track digital campaigns
- Support the preparation of weekly and monthly reporting for client programs
- Help track key metrics for client programs to ensure we are on track to achieve their stated goals
- Execute timely and successful delivery of client requests
- Audit affiliate sites for accuracy of brand and product coverage
- Answer inbound inquiries and manage partner communications alongside account manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- Minimum of 3-6 months of marketing experience, including relevant internships
Skillset and Expectations
- Have a basic understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising, along with knowledge of media concepts and terms, including:
- Affiliate marketing and how it contributes to a brand’s direct-to-consumer business
- Affiliate networks, such as Avantlink, Impact, Commission Junction, Awin and ShareASale
- All aspects of digital and traditional media, including search, SEM, mobile, OOH, TV, Print, Radio, etc.
- Understand interactive research tools including Facebook Insights, Google Analytics and Gfk MRI
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills and a solid understanding of mathematical concepts
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment that promotes collaboration in addition to confidently working independently and leveraging resources at hand
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Establish and maintain effective relationships interdepartmentally, as well as with those outside the team
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work under pressure; be agile and succeed in, as well as enjoy, a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented critical thinker with competent time management and problem-solving abilities
- An entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
- Growth mindset with interest in lifelong learning
Compensation: $50,000/yr. rygr's compensation package includes paid vacation and sick leave, paid volunteer time, a wellness stipend, matching 401(k), group healthcare and stipend, professional development support, and a flex time policy.
Location: This is a hybrid-eligible, full time position, which may be filled in our Carbondale or Denver office, with the expectation for the candidate to work at least 3 days per week in a rygr office.
